We believe that empathy is the data and and that compassion is that action that you take with the data. Compassionate action is inclusive, innovative, and can be income generating and intimate if that’s your goal. Our short workshops, starting with our Empathy 101 practice, utilize the Empathy Decathlon® framework to guide you through me-empathy skills and we-empathy skills.

Our empathy practices start here!

This IS a pre-requisite for all other empathy practice sessions with Empathy Lab because we believe that all teams, leaders, adults, and children need a common foundation to start their lifelong self + others empathy work.

Our Empathy Practice 101 is the essential starting point for every individual, team, and company culture. This 60-90 minute session provides an introduction to the concept of practiced empathy and an overview of the Empathy Decathlon framework as our empathy practice model. During this session we will uncover the fundamentals of practicing me-empathy and we-empathy in order to set a unified pace for individual and team collaboration, cohesiveness, and growth.
