Vote Empathy T-Shirt

Voting is probably on every American’s mind at the moment and I cannot think of a more empathetic act at the moment. Even though we strive to act independently, our foundational success is as a country, and a collective of people that want the best for all, not some. Exclusion is not American. Empathy, thinking of others, of your community and communities unlike yours is American.

A few weeks ago I threw together a design for a blue t-shirt that reads, “vote empathy”. Like the previous green “empathy” t-shirt, this one will also have a secret motivational message for its wearer.

All profits will go to the Equal Justice Initiative. After a personal trip to Selma and Montgomery last year for my 40th birthday, I got a glimpse of the important work that Bryan Stevenson and the team at EJI are doing. To learn more, check out Bryan’s TEDTalk.
