Refocus

Mistakes, whether they are accidental or not, present an opportunity to learn and improve. Accidents, like my son falling out of the tree last Sunday, are not preventable, but it made me take inventory of the things that matter most. It helped me refocus where I wanted to spend my energy and this blog at the time being wasn't one of those places.

Coming off the heals of the 2020 US Election week, in the middle of a pandemic, and with numerous other things this year, I realized two things.

  1. I've been pummeled and am living (struggling) through the results of it (we all are!)

  2. Despite the beating, time NOW with family and friends matters most

While we cannot do much about the world throwing random crap at us, we can choose how to perceive. While we cannot slow down time, we can choose how we spend it. Spending NOW on the things we choose matters most.

Refocus on what matters most for you.
