Do you wear or have you ever worn an orthotic device? Tell us about it.
Orthotics are devices that are used to modify the structure and functionality of the body. They can be as simple as shoe insoles and as complicated as 3D printed full torso support systems such as a Second Skin night garment. They are custom to the individual, which means that they are costly and take time to design and build.
A London based company, Andiamo, is improving the orthotics creation process by utilizing 3D scanning and printing technologies. Please, check out their story and see what they are up to.
